What is the TUM Business Game?
The TUM Business Game is a case competition with students from all over the world competing in two challenges. The cases are based on real-life problems our challenge partners are facing. A team of four students which are randomly assigned try their best to present a good solution for the given case. For that the teams have two hours during which they can research on the internet, sketch ideas on flip charts or design a solution from scratch on a notebook. When the time is over the teams have to present their ideas to a jury of five jury members, where they can try to convince the jurors by their eloquence. The jury then decides who won and will hand over the price during the ceremony in the evening. Even though a team hasn’t won, the most talented students compete in the eloquence challenge in the evening where they can win a special price sponsored by our premium partner. A sample case, as it was used in the past by the Solvay Business Game, can be found here.
